Full Description

LOCATION - The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania is located on the Derwent River at Sandy Bay, about 10 minutes drive south of Hobart's CBD.

DESCRIPTION - The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania is the premier yacht club in Tasmania conducting local events on River Derwent, national and international titles as well as finishing the blue water classic, the Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE - The Bruni Restaurant and Bar is located on the ground floor, overlooking the marina and with access to the lawn and patio. It is open for lunch Tuesdays to Friday and the last Sunday of each month. It is also open for dinner from Wednesday through to Saturday nights.

FUNCTION FACILITIES - The clubs versatile function venues boast spectacular waterviews, seating for up to 200 guests and close proximity to the centre of Hobart. The Bruni Restaurant, overlooks the marina and has lawn and patio access, perfect pre-dinner cocktails or as a breakout area for conferences. It has a dance floor, stage and bar access. The Bass and Flinders Courtyard is on the 1st floor and has magnificent views and can accommodate up to 80 guests. The Yachties Courtyard is a more informal venue, offering a BBQ area and views.
