	Description: One of Australia's premier yachting clubs. The Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron is Queensland’s oldest and most prestigious recreational boating club. It is also unique in the variety of recreational activities catered for within the one club. The major facility is located at Manly in Brisbane’s south-eastern Bayside suburbs, with a smaller ‘down the Bay’ premises at Canaipa Point on Russell Island in southern Moreton Bay.

Full Description

LOCATION - The Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron is located in the pretty seaside town of Manly, about 45 minutes south of Brisbane’s CBD.

DESCRIPTION - The Squadron has a proud history of involvement in sailing, from the juniors in dinghies, through to families enjoying the delights of relaxing on Moreton Bay.
The club is adjacent to the 4* Marina Cove Motel, making this picturesque area a wonderful destination for a a few days away.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE - The RQ Bar is open daily, and The Boardwalk Café provides members and guests alfresco style lunch and dinner overlooking Manly Boat Harbour (Wed-Sun).

FUNCTION FACILITIES - Flags Function Room is a dedicated venue for social and corporate events, with a large terrace overlooking the harbour, perfect for guest to mingle with drinks and hors d'oeuvres. The adjacent motel makes this club an excellent choice for any type of function.
