Profile: The accomplished and talented Jonathon Heath, direct from the highly acclaimed Verandah Restaurant in the Hunter Valley has joined the diggers team and is busy preparing his new menus for diggers members and guests to experience.

Chef Heath brings a wealth of experience in the Restaurant world having worked at Barrenjoey House, Sydney’s Steel Bar and Grill and Pony Lounge and Dining at The Rocks as the right hand man of Chef Damien Heads

“I am truly overwhelmed by the opportunity, it is a chef’s dream to have a brand new kitchen, restaurant and events room to be able to showcase my cooking and I am eager to provide a fresh dining experience to the coast”, Heath said.

The New facilities will offer fantastic water views over Tuggerah Lakes and the menu will focus on fresh produce with a with a modern take on the old classics coupled with some new healthy lifestyle dishes, something for everyone!

The new Bites dining experience will be launched in early September 2010.
