	Description: From a very spartan begining the Club now boasts a large modern Clubhouse which was completed and opened in 1998. It features dining for 270, a fantastic outdoor BBQ area, gaming, and Spike Bar, Pro Shop and golfing members lounge on the lower level. Unique to Canberra, the course and Clubhouse is owned and operated by the Ainslie Football and Social Club .

Full Description

LOCATION - The Lakes is set in the new northern Canberra region of Gungahlin in the suburb of Nicholls, an easy 15 minutes drive from the Canberra City CBD.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE - The Lakes Restaurant boasts magnificent views to the 18th hole, and is the perfect environment to relax in at any time. The menu is extensive and affordable. There are live bands on Saturday night.

FUNCTION FACILITIES - The recently renovated $20m clubhouse offers unique corporate golfing facilities. The Lakes offers corporate and social groups the privacy of their very own private entertainment facilities complete with bar, BBQ facilities, adjoining shower and change room facilities and an extensive terrace that captures breathtaking views of the course.
